Franklin Falls Dam is located on the Pemigewasset River in Franklin, New Hampshire. The dam was constructed between 1939 and 1943 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and spans 0.75 miles (1.21 km) across the river. Numerous trails are available for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Activities such as boating, picnicking, and fishing are also offered.
